Small Group Tutoring - Year 1&2

Service Description

Please note, we will assess all children at the beginning of the term and allocate classes based on this information. We aim to ensure your child remains in their chosen session with other children with like ability. What will we cover? Designed to help students who require support with the fundamentals of reading and spelling. Children will work in a small group environment and activities will be differentiated to suit their needs. Sessions will include: -phonological and phonemic awareness -foundational or extended letter/sound knowledge (synthetic phonics) -reading and spelling for accuracy and fluency As with all SailAway Readers classes, we combine structured literacy with lots of fun. This class is designed to support struggling learners and those who require additional help. It is not designed as an enrichment class.
